To commemorate the 161st birth anniversary of Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy Panthulu, Telugu Language Day celebrations were held at the School on 29 August 2024 with great enthusiasm. Essay, poetry competitions and various Telugu language activities were organized for the students. Moreover, with the intention of introducing our cultural traditions to today's generation as well, the Burrakatha presented by the students was very entertaining, showing the greatness of the Telugu language. As a part of it, the scale of Telugu alphabet toys (Bommala Koluvu) set up in the school attracted everyone's attention. Recitation competition was also held in advance for Classes I to X as prelude to this auspicious occasion.  The winners of the various competitions were awarded with the certificates of appreciation.

On this occasion, referring to the services rendered by Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy Panthulu to the Telugu language, the Academic Director,Ms. Sruti Sainathuni said that all the students should recognize the greatness of Telugu language and follow the path shown by him. The Honorary Correspondent, Mr. G.V. Bhaskar said that because of the efforts of Sri Gidugu Venkata Ramamurthy, today we are studying Telugu as a colloquial language. The Principals, Mr. Mahesh and Mrs. Sasi Lakshmi informed that it is the responsibility of every Telugu person to ensure that the Telugu language does not disappear.
