ROOTS OF CHARITY

Besides giving good education, imparting moral values is extremely important to every child. Charity is a noble endeavor that embodies the essence of humanity. Our students experienced the joy of giving by visiting various welfare centers, including Bommarillu Organisation Home, Louis School for Blind Students, Vishwasevika Trust, Ushodaya Old Age Home, Samatha Old Age Home, and Matru Vatsalya Ashram in Ongole on 8 November 2024.

Rice, pulses, idlirava, upma rava, sugar, tamarind, wheat flour, cooking oil, coconut oil along with soaps, pastes, brushes, blankets were donated to all the above welfare centers by the School children. The students became aware of the apathy that surrounds the old people with their children having no time to take care of them.  They were inspired by the resilience of the visually impaired students and developed a deeper appreciation for the human spirit.

The School Academic Director, Ms. Sruti Sainathuni, appreciated the parents' contributions, emphasizing that this initiative would instill generosity and social responsibility in our students. The Honorary Correspondent, Mr. G. V. Bhaskar said this annual programme fosters a sense of compassion and purpose among the students. The Principals, Mr. M. Mahesh and Mrs. J. Sasi Lakshmi added that it was a great experience for children to talk to the elderly, mentally challenged and blind students and reassure them that they are there to give their helping hands every year.
