INTERHOUSE SPORTS CHAMPIONSHIP 2024

Participating in Inter House Sports provides students with a unique opportunity to combine physical exercise with excitement and thrill. Sports and games play a vital role in promoting their mental and physical growth, allowing them to develop essential life skills. Through sports, they learn to maintain their composure in challenging situations, develop teamwork and friendly spirit, and cultivate a sense of discipline and perseverance.

The School involves all the students in the competition so that all get a sense of participation and the Houses are tested fully as far as their abilities are concerned. The Sports Meet commenced on 29 October 2024. Seniors (VII to X classes) and Juniors (IV to VI classes) and Sub-juniors (I to III classes)participated enthusiastically in all the individual and group games like running race, long jump, shot put, relay events, basketball, kho-kho, kabaddi, handball, tug of war and football.The Physical Education Department supervised the events, which included semi-finals and finals scheduled on different days.

The students showcased their sporting spirit, cheering on their respective Houses and applauding the winners and runners-up, who received gold, silver, and bronze medals. All houses demonstrated their skills, making every event a closely contested and thrilling experience. The competition for the overall sports championship was intense, with each house striving to emerge victorious. The final score sheet reflected the intense competitive spirit among all houses.

The dreams of Buddha House came true by winning the overall Inter House Sports Championship this year. Einstein House stood second followed by Mahatma and Krishnadevaraya Houses in that order.
