Grandparents Day Celebrations

The Kindergarten students celebrated the Grandparents’ Day with grandeur in the School on 13 September 2024. The event aimed to teach children valuable lessons through direct experience and strengthen the bond between generations.

The grandparents enthusiastically participated in various games, including musical chairs, while their grandchildren were encouraging them to win the game. The students showcased their talents through songs and gifted plants grown in the school to their grandparents, highlighting their involvement in environmental protection.The celebration culminated in a moment of reverence, as the kindergarten students lovingly touched the feet of their grandparents and parents. This traditional gesture of respect and gratitude allowed the children to receive blessings from their elders, further deepening the emotional bond between generations and making the Grandparents Day celebration even more memorable.

Prizes were awarded to the winning grandparents in various competitions, celebrating their active participation and contributions to the event. The Academic Director, Ms. Sruti Sainathuni said that by involving grandparents in school activities, the programme not only enriched students' learning but also reinforced the importance of family and tradition.
